Dear Calvary Monterey,
This fall, we’re stepping into something new together. Beginning Thursday, October 2, we’re launching a Thursday night church service—a full Calvary gathering with the same teaching, worship, and ministry support you experience on Sundays. This Thursday service will serve as the first service of our weekend church gatherings.
Why Thursday nights? Because we believe the local church is both an organism and an organization—alive with the Spirit’s work, and thoughtfully led to make room for more people to encounter Jesus. As our church family grows, we want to remain a place that is accessible, prayerful, and full of grace. We know Sunday mornings don’t work for everyone. Whether you're a shift worker, a parent juggling schedules, someone who serves on Sundays, or simply in need of a quieter space, this new gathering is for you.
In addition to this service, we’re launching weekly prayer meetings before each worship service, believing God is calling us deeper into communion with Him—together.
We’re taking this step of faith with open hands, trusting that God will use it to welcome, refresh, and restore.
