Water baptism is our public IDENTIFICATION with Jesus after we place our faith in Him for our salvation.
- It means we have turned from the old life of sin to a new life in Jesus
- It means we are publicly identifying with the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus
- It means we are openly joining the ranks of those who believe in Jesus
The entire symbolism of a funeral followed by a resurrection pictures a complete renunciation of our old life and acceptance of a new one!
We provide water baptisms on Sundays at 1pm right after the 11 am service. The baptistry will be located right out on the patio so that we publicly take our stand for Jesus. Please bring modest apparel (that you can get wet!) appropriate for the occasion. You will be released right before the end of the 11 am service to change clothes in the nearest restroom. Towels and flip flops will be provided. After a short season of instruction and worship, each believer will enter the heated water and be baptized by the pastors.
In Romans 6:3-4 Paul speaks of water baptism in this way:
If you are ready to leave your old life completely behind to embrace a new one in Christ, please go to the link and register for the next baptism. In the meantime, read Romans 6:1-14 over and over, preparing to dedicate your life completely to God.
